M700 Gas Sniper Rifle Review
Based on the Remington Model 700, a well known military and police sniper rifle, the M700 is now available to you as an Airsoft sniper rifle. Really, I gotta start out by saying this gun impressed me. Usually with Airsoft guns the common rule is you get what you pay for, but this gun far surpasses many Airsoft rifles in the $400 to $500 range.
Right out of the box this M700 gas sniper rifle by KJ Works boasts a sexy 530 FPS which is better than many more expensive guns and this is with no mods!
This is a gas powered gun so you don’t have to fight with cocking the spring like many spring powered sniper rifles. All you have to do to fire is to pull the very smooth bolt action and you are ready to fire.

First impression of this gun is excellent. The overall feel is very nice and the weight is nicely well balanced throughout the entire gun. The M700 Take Down comes with a solid scope rail so it is easy to add a scope and it also comes with sling attachments so you can easily add a gun sling without having to go through the trouble of drilling. This gun is made of high quality materials and was very solid construction. It was also quite accurate after a few small adjustments to the hop-up which was well-positioned and easy to adjust.
I added a NcSTAR 3-9×40 Sporting Scope and a Bipod to improve the accuracy of this gun and it worked amazingly. The capacity of this gun was fair being able to hold 10 rounds per magazine so I would recommend buying an additional clip or two so you can easily change magazines which is easy and smooth to reload. I would recommend adding a scope for improved accuracy.
Operating the Takedown
Since this gun is a takedown it means the gun is 2 separate pieces that lock together for easy transportation. To break the gun into two pieces you simply unlock the leaver and rotate the front part of the gun 90 degrees counter clockwise and it will break apart so it’s simple to break down and reassemble. For those who play on fields with FPS limits on guns you can easily adjust the velocity by adjusting a small screw to lower the FPS too under 350 which is the common limit on most fields.
Overall this is an excellent gun right out of the box thanks to the great construction and the high FPS that it delivers for a reasonable price. This is a great gun whether you are a green player or if you are a experienced Airsoft player wanting to upgrade or try out a sniper position.
